Beijing’s cyber offensives are redrawing Indo-Pacific fault lines. States are striking back with varied strategies, and India can no longer afford to stay silent.
The intensifying geopolitical tension in the Indo-Pacific region is now casting its shadow on cyberspace. The most prominent example of this competition is between China and its strategic competitors and regional adversaries, which Chinese state-affiliated actors increasingly target. China’s military power is increasing, and so are its offensive cyber capabilities, which pose an increasingly greater threat to regional countries in the Indo-Pacific.
