On February 24th, 2023, the Romanian Institute for Europe-Asia Studies (IRSEA), successfully participated at the public discussions themed “Ukraine on Fire: One Year of Resistance”, jointly organised by the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Indonesia.
The discussions, graciously hosted by H.E. Ambassador Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, Founder and Chairman of FPCI, and H.E. Ambassador Vasyl Hamianin, Ambassador of Ukraine to Indonesia, marked a year since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
Ambassador Prof. Yuddy Chrisnandi, former Ambassador of Indonesia to Ukraine (2017-2021), Dr. Radityo Dharmaputra, FPCI Fellow & Lecturer of International Relations at Universitas Airlangga, and Kris Mada, Journalist at KOMPAS, who has previously reported live from Ukraine in 2022 also spoke during the event.
The hybrid event held by FPCI in Bahasa Indonesia reunited a wide gamut of professionals, analysts and scholars of International Relations having benefited the participation of over 300 experts from more than 50 countries.
Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI) is a non-partisan, non-politic and independent foreign policy organisation established to discuss and introduce international relations issues to many relevant actors in Indonesia such as diplomats, ambassadors, government officials, academia, researchers, businesses, media, lecturers, think tanks, students and media. FPCI is also dedicated to study the most-pressing foreign policy issues in relates to ASEAN, geopolitics, middle powers, geo-economics and diaspora.
