The Romanian Institute for Europe-Asia Studies (IRSEA) salutes Mr. Rahul Bhandari, PhD(c) as our newest Honorary Member. One of India’s most promising promoters of internationalization in Higher Education, Rahul Bhandari, PhD(c), is the Director – International Relations of Karnavati University, one of India and the region’s top private universities, located in the state of Gujarat, also a partner of IRSEA. A higher education and international liaison specialist, Rahul Bhandari, PhD(c), has provided the establishment, development, and implementation of direct contacts between multiple Indian universities and academic institutions and think-tanks of foreign countries, coordinating and ensuring the participation of representatives of higher education institutions in international events. He also organized the development of priority areas of cooperation through the relevant departments of the Ministry of Education in order to ensure Indian universities’ involvement in international programs and projects.
A man of letters, Rahul Bhandari, PhD(c), conducts research on the structure of education in foreign countries, as well as the content and characteristics of teaching and educational affairs in Asia and Europe. He has been nurturing and expanding the existing institutional relationships of Indian universities with over 300 partner institutions spread over 55+ countries, liaising with Embassies/ High Commissions as well as Education Offices/ International Organizations such as USIEF, British Council, Australia-India Education Council, Education France to name a few.
Passionate university lecturer, Rahul Bhandari, PhD(c), has been teaching in the areas of International Relations, Human Resource Management and Marketing Management in Malaysia, Indonesia, U.A.E., Lebanon, Syria, and Vietnam universities. His extensive research has been published in numerous SSCI-listed academic journals. He chaired, organised and participated in multiple international conferences in Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai, Vietnam, Lebanon and Syria; Bhandari also monitored the implementation of internationalization policies and practical internships for students and provided leadership for the department in lieu of the university’s Pro Vice-Chancellor.
Synthesizing a truly international academic experience, Rahul Bhandari PhD(c) has been working and studying in Asia (India, Indonesia), Middle East (United Arab Emirates) and Europe (United Kingdom), building academic and educational bridges between the Two Continents, showing sheer commitment to the same values promoted by IRSEA: International Cooperation, Cross-cultural Dialogue and Mutual Understanding.
On the occasion of joining the Institute, Rahul Bhandari, PhD(c), manifested his will to continuously support and further strengthen the excellent relations between IRSEA and Karnavati University by an active and practical cooperation.
