IRSEA’s President and Founder, H.E. Ambassador (p) Gheorghe Săvuică paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Rahul Shrivastava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Romania.
Ambassador Săvuică and Ambassador Shrivastava exchanged views on the excellent diplomatic relations between the two countries and manifested their mutual beliefs of further strengthening the wonderful Romania-India relations.
While recalling his great memories in India during the numerous visits he made as Director General of the Asia Pacific, Near and Middle East, Africa and Latin America Department, Ambassador Săvuică congratulated Ambassador Shrivastava for his recent appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Romania and presented his best wishes to him and the Indian Mission in Bucharest.
While pointing at the capital importance of the cooperation between Romanian and Indian academic institutions, Ambassador Shrivastava introduced several prestigious Indian think-tanks to IRSEA. Following the kind suggestions presented, IRSEA has signed two Memorandums of Understanding with O.P. Jindal Global University and Manipal Academy of Higher Education, respectively, and is looking forward to further strengthen the academic cooperation by initiating common research projects and exchanging visits.
