On February 22nd 2022, H.E Ambassador (p) Gheorghe Savuica, President and Founder of the Romanian Institute for Europe-Asia Studies (IRSEA) participated in a panel discussion on the Ukraine Crisis.

The discussion has been graciously hosted by the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), one of the most prominent think-tanks in South Asia, a partner of IRSEA since 2008.

The panel has been moderated by H.E. Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Director General of ISSI and included distinguished speakers, veteran ambassadors and seasoned academics: H.E. Ambassador Maj. Gen. (R) Noel Khokhar, Ambassador of Pakistan to Ukraine, H.E. Maj. Gen. Wajahat Mufti (Retd.), former Ambassador to Ukraine, Dr. Yulia Nikitina, Assistant Professor, Department of World Political Processes, Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO)and H.E. Ambassador Qazi M. Khalilullah, former Ambassador to Russia, Cuba & Myanmar.

Organised under Chatham House rules, the event showcased a sincere approach on behalf of all the participants, in an environment of mutual respect and dialogue.
