IRSEA Signs Memorandum of Understanding with University of Piteşti, Romania

On September 29th, 2022, the Romanian Institute for Europe-Asia Studies (IRSEA), represented by its Founding President,H.E. Ambassador (p) Gheorghe Savuica, and University of Piteşti, represented by its Rector Conf. Univ. Dr. Ing. Dumitru Chirleşan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding manifesting the joint view of diversifying their cooperation by mutually organising common research and analysis programmes.

The parties hold the view that such programmes may include research projects in areas of mutual interest, organising or co-organising round table discussions, seminars and webinars along with European or Asian partners or jointly organising lectures and training courses.

The MoU has been facilitated with the generous support of Associate Professor Corina Amelia Georgescu, PhD, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University of Piteşti.

As a partner of IRSEA, the University of Piteşti has actively participated, through its students and professors, at the “Romania in EU, Indonesia in ASEAN – Vivid Promoters within the EU-ASEAN Strategic Partnership” webinar, on the occasion of ASEAN’s 55th Anniversary.
