On April 4, 2019, IRSEA's President, Ambassador (r) Gheorghe Săvuică, delivered an honorary lecture to junior scholars from 5 Romanian top universities, studying security studies and international relations. The guest lecture was delievered at the invitation of Mr. Flavius Caba-Maria, president of the Middle East Political and Economic Institute.

The event was co-organised by the Middle East Political and Economic Institute and the Association for Values, Ideas and Projects and hosted by the Bucharest Youth Foundation.
