On 8th of August 2024, the ASEAN in Bucharest Committee formed by Ambassadors of Indonesia (current Chair), Malaysia, Kingdom of Thailand and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam organized the ASEAN Day Flag Ceremony to commemorate the 57th Anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
President of the Romanian Institute for Europe-Asia Studies, Ambassador (p) Gheorghe Savuica attended, as guest, this important event of ASEAN.
During the years, IRSEA has organized several events dedicated to the laborious activity and great achievements of ASEAN.
