On August 6, 2018, IRSEA's President H.E. Ambassador Gheorghe Săvuică, Honorary Consul of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in Romania, met Mr. Daya Gamage, Minister of Primary Industries and Social Welfare, and Dr. Anoma Gamage, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Petroleum Gas.

H.E. Ambassador Săvuică similarly participated at the meeting of the Sri Lankan delegation with the National Association of the Romanian Exporters and Importers (ANEIR) and the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIB).
