H.E. Ambassador Miss Dao Vibulpanich, having recently (September 2022) presented her Credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Romania, warmly welcomed Ambassador (p) Savuica to the Royal Thai Embassy in Bucharest and highly appreciated his kind gesture to pay a courtesy call.
During Ambassador Savuica’s meeting with Ambassador Dao, the two top-level diplomats enjoyed a friendly exchange of views on matters of common interest and explored avenues of potential cooperation between IRSEA and Thai think-tanks. The two Ambassadors agreed on the importance of education and youth, particularly in matters of think-tank cooperation and cultural exchanges.
Ambassador (p) Savuica congratulated Ambassador Dao for her mandate and wished her great success in all her endeavors to further strengthening the already excellent relations between Romania and the Kingdom of Thailand.
In a friendly atmosphere, the two interlocutors have agreed that the cordial relationship between the Royal Thai Embassy in Romania and IRSEA has the potential to be upgraded through multiple ways, such as academic cooperation, think-tank partnership and youth-centered webinars. IRSEA’s President and Founder, Ambassador (p) Gheorghe Savuica manifested his wish to establish partnerships and cooperation agreements with think-tanks in Thailand. To this avail, the Thai Ambassador, H.E. Dao Vibulpanich, will convey IRSEA’s interest to related institutes in her country.
The two Ambassadors agreed on the importance of continuing to work for a more robust cooperation between Europe and Asia and manifested their full commitment to facilitate the interaction between the Thai and Romanian students. In this regard, the two experienced diplomats agreed the current anniversary marking 50 years of excellent diplomatic relations between Romania and the Kingdom of Thailand constitute an excellent opportunity for both building on the already existing relations as well as create new bridges between youngsters, think-tanks and academic institutions from both countries.
