At the invitation of Dr. Eng. Dumitru CHIRLESAN, Rector of the University of Pitesti, IRSEA's President and Founder, H.E. Ambassador Gheorghe Săvuică, held an interactive meeting with professors and postgraduate students of the University of Piteşti, themed "50 years of diplomatic activity of modern Romania in Asia".
The opening speech and brief presentation of the diplomatic activity of Ambassador Gheorghe Savuică, career diplomat, specialist on Southeast Asia, proficient Indonesian speaker, with multiple diplomatic missions in Asia, belonged to Dr. Adrian SAMARESCU, Associate Professor, Vice-rector, as well as Dr. Adrian SIMON, Associate Professor, “Petru Maior” University of Targu Mures, honorary member of IRSEA.
Dr. Emanuel SOARE, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, presented the greetings, appreciations and thanks on behalf of Dr. Mihaela DIACONU, Professor and President of the Senate and of the Dr. Eng. Dumitru CHIRLESAN, Rector, for the presence of H.E. Ambassador Gheorghe Savuică and the involvement of IRSEA in this event. The meeting was organized in the context of marking the Centenary of the Union and completing the creation of the modern Romanian unitary state.
The exhibition generated a substantial, interesting and highly interactive dialogue, which was attended by over 60 teachers and masters present in the room.
